Journal Club in Petersfield

A monthly journalling and stationery club at Sage and Salt Studio, Petersfield.

You know the notebook. The beautiful one you bought months ago and haven’t written in yet, because it felt too nice to “waste”. Bring it. Journal Club is where you actually use it, alongside other people who love pretty paper, a nice pen, stickers and a bit of time to think.

Who is Journal Club for?

Beginners and lifelong journallers, stationery lovers, and anyone who wants a chilled and crafty evening.

What happens at Journal Club?

Theres a themed prompt each month. Use it for inspiration or choose your own path. You'll also get some supplies each month from me.

Oracle, affirmation and tarot cards on the table if you want a nudge.

A turn on the mystery machine with every ticket. It’s a capsule machine, so you twist the handle and see what stationery surprise comes out.

Good company and quiet time. Chat, write, or do a bit of both.

There’s no right way to journal, so come and find your style.

Journal Club FAQs

I’ve never journalled. Is that OK? Yes. The prompts are there so you’re never staring at a blank page.

Do I have to read anything out? Never. This is your own private journal and you'll never be asked to share anything.

I'm not artistic, does that matter? Not at all. You can cut out photos, use stickers or anything you like if you want to decorate your pages. Or you can simply write, it doesn't have to be pretty.

Can I come on my own? Absolutely, you'll get a warm welcome.
